The STEM North of Scotland brand has been developed to promote science, technology, engineering and maths within the Highlands and Islands.
As a Highlands and Islands Enterprise initiative, the information contained within this web site is subject to the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.
As a Scottish public body, HIE aims to comply fully with the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act, which came fully into force in January 2005.
This Act essentially provides a right of access to information held by public bodies regardless of age - and establishes the office of the Scottish Information Commissioner who has the necessary powers to enforce the Act and regulate compliance.
